Install the companion server on your computer
RequiredThis is the half that holds your photos. Run the installer, point it at the drive you want to fill, and leave it running.

Scan the code to link the two halves
RequiredWhen the companion server starts it puts a QR code on your computer screen. Open the app, point your phone at the code, and the two halves find each other. Nothing to type in, and it takes about 30 seconds.
